Ida Maria,gosh you love alot!

today i will be doing a review on Ida Maria's new album:

fortress round my heart <3

i noticed that most of these songs are about love in some way, but different experiences.

Oh My God Lyrics:

"put a smile on my face"

"put a price on my soul"

"build a fortress round my heart"

Drive away my heart Lyrics:

"coz' I don't want nothing else but you"

"you can treat me like you please"

"leave me bleeding on the floor from my hearts core"

"Drive away my heart tonight, coz' it is no longer mine"

Forgive me Lyrics:

"you read about love in a book somewhere"

"Treasured with cold,cold kisses"

"I've hear all those fancy words but yours"

See me through Lyrics:

"no ones the type for me"

"when will you see me through"

"My mind is eating my heart out"

Stella Lyrics:

"I wanna give you the world,if you just stay with me tonight"

"It made me realise how much you wanna give away just to feel loved"

Queen of the world Lyrics:

"Kill my innocence"

"please lay our eyes on me ,lead me in the dance"

"give me a chance to reconsider"

"i got no plans for tomorrow,

i got plans inside,

in fact I'm free this week,

I'm free this month,

I'm lonely this year,

I'm lonely forever"

as you can see she writes like she has experienced a lot,and although her voice sometimes breaks at the end of most song, she does have some catchy muse and i advise you to at least give her a try.

Folie a Deux

today I will be doing a review on the new Fall out Boy album:

Folie a Deux

the album has 13 songs including 6 bonus tracks

in this album they worked with a number of different artists to gve a bit of a different feel to the style they were known so well for.

they worked with, Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship,Willam Beckett of The Academy Is,Brendon Urie of Panic At The Disco,Former Blondie singer Deborah Harry, and the amazing Guitarist John Mayer.

The top charter 'I Don't Care' had amazing lyrics and music, and lets be frank,on this album there was bound to be one.

I luhuve the song 'Pavlove' ,the music, the vocals, the lyrics, everything.

sample of song:

"I want to make you as lonely as me"

'Headfirst slide into coppertown on a bad bet' has great music but the beat is a bit too slow in some spaces.

sample of song:

"I will never end up like him, behind my back I already am"

'27' have the great lyrics and good vocals but the guitar solo is the best.

Brendon Urie's vocals impressed me in '20 dollar nose bleed'

in the remake of 'Beat it' was great.

John mayers skillfull guitar solo was noted, and Patrick Stump's vocals individualised the piece and made it there own.

the other songs such as 'Tiffany Blews' and the 'I Don't Care(remix)' were more pop than rock and somewhat disapointed me.

however I enjoyed their album anyway and I look forward to seeing them in february

:)
